Jane Gleeson-White

Dr Jane Gleeson-White is an internationally acclaimed writer and speaker with degrees in literature, economics and creative writing.

She’s the author of Six Capitals: The revolution capitalism has to have—or can accountants save the planet? (2014) and Double Entry: How the merchants of Venice shaped the modern world—and how their invention could make or break the planet (2011). Six Capitals was shortlisted for the 800-CEO-READ’s best Finance and Economics Book published in North America in 2015. Double Entry won the 2012 Nib Literary Award and was shortlisted for other major awards including the 2013 NSW Premier’s Literary Awards. Jane is also the author of Classics (2005) and Australian Classics (2007). She was the fiction editor of Overland (2010-2012) and wrote a book blog, bookishgirl.com.au, from 2010 to 2016.
