PRAISE FOR INCONCEIVABLE

“An inspiring and necessary book that challenges the narratives we set for our lives and reveals the beauty beyond them.”
CLEMENTINE FORD

“An important story, fantastically told.”
CELIA PACQUOLA

“An assured first book that walks the fine line between lightness and gravity.”
Sydney Morning Herald/The Age – Non Fiction Pick of the Week

“Inspiring, challenging and often very funny, Inconceivable is an important read about one woman’s choice to become a parent.”
The Australian

“Powerful, singular story I rejoiced in reading. Finally, here is a story about a woman who has created her own happily ever after, without submitting to traditional forms of family-building. Collier writes movingly of the judgement single women face in society. Necessary, immersive read.”
JESSIE TU

“Bravely rewrites the script about how to make a family.”
GINA RUSHTON (The Most Important Job in the World)

Testimonials

“Alexandra is an engaging, articulate and very entertaining speaker. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

—Dr Nick Carr, TV presenter and Radiotherapy host, RRR

“Alexandra gave an engaging, funny and poignant speech to the Australian Women in New York group at the Australian Consulate that spoke directly to the experience of being an expat and a writer living abroad in New York City – the audience were completely engaged throughout the speech and many laughed and cried as they felt that she had hit the nail on the head with the ‘expat experience’. Listening to Alexandra speak was a moving and heartwarming experience”

—Belinda Jackson, Past President of AWNY (Australian Women in New York)
