The campaign for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is a unified effort to galvanise action towards ending violence against women and girls around the world.
To change the culture that drives gendered violence, we need to change the conversation. The campaign calls on us to create opportunities for dialogue between activists, policy-makers and the public, and empowers us to call out gender inequality, marginalisation and discrimination in our workplaces and communities.

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations sanctioned day that is celebrated internationally on 3 December. It aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and to celebrate their achievements and contributions. It also seeks to increase awareness of gains to be derived from the integration of people with disability in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life. This day is an opportunity for organisations and thought leaders to assess and rethink their own policies and practices in this sphere.
The annual theme provides an overarching focus on how society can strive for inclusivity through the removal of physical, technological and attitudinal barriers for people with disability. Seeking to create a society that enables people with disability to fulfil their potential as equal citizens.
Our speakers with disabilities offer their personal perspectives and engaging stories, to celebrate, inspire and motivate positive change.
