Rick Morton is an award-winning journalist and author. His debut memoir One Hundred Years of Dirt became a national bestseller when it was released in 2018. He has also authored the extended essay On Money and the bestselling My Year of Living Vulnerably. Rick is originally from Queensland. He has been a reporter for more than 15 years with a particular focus on national affairs and social policy, especially aged care, the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the health, mental health and welfare systems.
