Arabella Forge is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), television presenter and food writer. She is the author of the cookbook Frugavore: How to Grow Your Own, Buy Local, Waste Nothing and Eat Well (Black Inc 2010) which has been published and distributed throughout Australia and the USA.
In Frugavore, Arabella Forge shows that it needn’t be so difficult. She provides a hands-on, practical guide to a new way of living, proving that frugal eating can also be flavoursome and fun.
Arabella presents a regular segment on food and gardening for Channel 10’s Love to Share Food and is a spokesperson for The Markets of Melbourne.
She also writes a regular restaurant review and food column for The Melbourne Review and www.goodfood.com.au (The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, Canberra Times and Brisbane Times) and is a speaker at food events and slow food forums.
Arabella is passionate about all issues relating to food, nutrition and global food politics. She has a family history of farming and loves getting her hands dirty and connecting directly to the source of her food. She is also a passionate gardener, chook keeper and a very proud mum.
