Bri Lee wins VPLA People’s Choice Award for Eggshell Skull

We are proud as punch of Bri Lee, who has won the People’s Choice Award for her debut memoir, Eggshell Skull, in the 2019 Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards! Daniel Andrews has great taste.

The VPLA is administered by the Wheeler Centre on behalf of the Premier of Victoria each year. Categories include fiction, non-fiction, drama, poetry, writing for young adults, and the biennial Prize for Indigenous Writing, with prizes ranging from $15,000 all the way up to $100,000 for the overall Victorian Prize for Literature – the most valuable literary award in the country.
