At Speaking Out we are always on the lookout for new voices and fresh ideas. This month, we are thrilled to welcome Zoya Patel, along with the release of her debut book, No Country Woman, a collection of essays on race, identity and the diaspora (available now!).

Zoya is a Canberra-based writer, editor and communications professional with an impressive resume – founder and editor of Feminartsy, former Editor-In-Chief of Lip Magazine, and 2015 ACT Young Woman of the Year, awarded for her commitment to raising the profile of women’s voices in the media.
