Ruth Clare wins 2017 Asher Literary Award

A huge congratulations are in order for Ruth Clare who has taken out the 2017 Asher Literary Award for her memoir, Enemy.

The $12,000 prize is awarded to biennially to a female author whose work carries an anti-war theme. This year there were two winners, with Libby Hathorn’s A Soldier, a Dog and a Boy, sharing the honour.
